The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) established in 2010 is a non-profit African organization with their head office in Lagos,Nigeria. The goal of TEF is to foster Africa capitalism, business leadership and entrepreneurship across Africa.

The Tony Elumelu Foundation in its bid to meet its goal established the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) launched in 2015 and has since produced 3000 entrepreneurs and still counting. These entrepreneurs are ready to transform Africa with their viable business ideas.

Today, 22nd March 2018, the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) has announced the 1000 entrepreneurs selected for TEEP out of the over 150,000 application submitted from 114 countries worldwide. The list of the selected entrepreneurs can be found at http://www.tonyelumelufoundation.org/

What the selected entrepreneurs stand to benefit from the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) includes:

  • Seed funding

TEEP provides each selected entrepreneur with $5,000 non-returnable seed capital and access to a $5,000 convertible loan. This funding has resuscitated a lot if dying businesses

  • A vast network

TEEP with its entrepreneurship forum and boot camp provides a platform for entrepreneurs to connect with aspiring and made entrepreneurs. The TEF alumni network is one of the biggest network an entrepreneur can encounter.

  • Leadership insight

TEEP during the 12 week learning phase provides entrepreneurs with insights on leadership skills needed by the entrepreneur to succeed in their business venture.

  • Mentorship

As a startup owner, the place of a mentor can not be underestimated. TEEP during its 12 week mentorship and learning phase exposes entrepreneurs to promising mentors.
