In the inside of you, there lies a dream always longing to come true. Within your heart there is this dazzling image of God for you to have a beautiful life. This longing dream and this dazzling image is what I call star. You have a star right within you that needs to twinkle to give your life a beautiful gaze in this world.
Many people in the world today keep on living miserable lives. Their life keeps stinking. They keep on living an ugly life full of poverty, poor self-image, lack, frustrations, brokenness…the list goes on. Without seeing that star in them. To them all about life is lost, they feel they can’t go on anymore, all what they see is their light dimming in the dark.
They most times see their dreams crashing under the crushing wheels of the time. But then God wants us to recognize that star in us. He wants us to see it. So we can glow with it.
The Phenomenon of stars is inevitable. As the bible and nature reveals that we are stars and there’s always a star in us. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow once said “ silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels”. William Shakespeare was a great English writer. In one of his great write ups he said something captivating about the stars.
He said,
“When he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine.
That the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun”
One thing with the star is that it shines during the night. Stephenie Meyer says “ I like the night without the dark we’d never see the stars.” One problem the world has is that many never see the hidden stars in them. People fail to recognize that there is a star in their lives ready to twinkle.
Right now, this is your night, you need to shine, you need to rise up see and that star dazzling in you. You need to discover it, use it and make it glow just over you.
One scientific discovery about the stars reveals that the stars does not disappear during the day they also glow in the day light but we can’t see them because of the glaring light of the sun. But during the night the star comes out more brighter when the blazing star is gone. This facts supports the popular poem of Jane Taylor.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
Up above the world so high
Like a diamond in the sky.
When the blazing sun is gone,
When he nothings shine upon,
Then you show your little light,
Twinkle, twinkle, all the night.
Now’s the night to discover your star, now’s the time to rise up and follow that star so you can live a beautiful life in this world. The world is already dark enough for you to shine. The wise men in the bible were following a star right from the east. This is what they said to King Hero when he confronted them. They said “ For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” These wise men never gave up. They kept on following their star till they arrived at their destination. If you too will discover your day-star or night star. And keep following it.
If you will not relent effort, give up and throw in the towel, if you will stand and say I can make it, I can do all things. You will glow and shine great into this dark world.
