Daddy Adeboye And Mummy Adeboye Love Story

 

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye popularly known as Daddy GO, is the current General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church Of God Worldwide, In this blog post I will be sharing his love story with his wife Pastor Mrs Foluke Adeboye, who also known as Mummy GO, if you want to know how, when and where they meet and other important information about the couple, then, you need to read to the end.

 

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye was born on 2nd of March 1942, currently 78 years old, in Osun State, Nigeria. He attends Ilesha Grammar School Ilesha
Osun State in 1956, before he proceeded to University of Nigeria Nsukka(UNN) in Nsukka but, he completed his first degree in University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) because of Nigerian Civil War graduating with a
bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1967.

 

Pastor E A Adeboye joined the Redemed Christian Church of God in 1973, where he served as an interpreter before he was ordained as a pastor in the by Pa. Josiah Akindayomi in 1975.

In 1981, he became General Overseer of RCCG, for the first three years, as General Overseer, he was a part-
time Pastor, before leaving his university job to preach full-time.

Pastor EA Adeboye got married to his wife Folu that same year, after few years of courtship, they did their court marriage on September 8, 1967, and later had their church wedding on December 17, 1967.

Pastor Mrs Foluke Adenike Adeboye was born on 13th July 1948 to the family of Jacob Adelusi Adeyokunnu.

 

Both Pastor E. A Adeboye and his wife are good example for all couple, including their children, and millions of couples who see them as their mentors across the world.

According to Pastor E. A Adeboye, he met his wife by divine appointment. He said “I met my wife by divine appointment. I said divine appointment because before we met, I had been in various relationships and she was supposed to be just one out of many. But then, on my birthday, she gave me a birthday present of a small New Testament Bible and two snow white handkerchiefs. By the time I got these gifts; something within me made it clear to me that this is the woman I will marry. Before that day was over, I had written off all the other girlfriends and by the grace of God, I have been able to stick to her alone since that time.”

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and his wife Folu are blessed with four children namely: Adeolu Adeboye, Bolu Adubi (née Adeboye), Leke Adeboye and Dare Adeboye respectively.
